Learn and Roam offers individualized, one-to-one online French lessons designed to meet each learner where they are.
Whether you are beginning your French journey, preparing for a language exam, supporting school success, or working toward personal or professional goals, lessons are thoughtfully tailored to your level, learning style, and interests.
No two learners are the same — and lessons should not be either.
Students range from children and teens to adults seeking enrichment, travel preparation, language confidence, or continued lifelong learning. Lessons are designed to be engaging, supportive, and personalized while maintaining clear goals and meaningful progress.
All lessons are taught online in a one-to-one format and are carefully customized using teacher-created materials and individualized learning plans.
Advanced (B2+)
Advanced learners may be accepted following consultation and language assessment to ensure appropriate fit and goal alignment.
How It Works
1. Reach Out
The process begins with an inquiry through the Learn and Roam contact form or by email.
This is an opportunity to share your goals, ask questions, and begin exploring whether lessons may be a good fit.
2. Free 30-Minute Consultation
A complimentary 30-minute consultation is offered prior to registration.
This conversation allows us to discuss goals, previous French experience, scheduling needs, and the type of learning environment you are seeking.
Finding the right learning fit matters.
3. Choose Your Lesson Package
Once consultation is complete, students may choose the lesson package that best aligns with their goals and schedule.
Lessons are approximately one hour in length and are typically held once per week.
Packages are available for varying levels and learning timelines.
4. Registration & Scheduling
Following package selection, a personalized service agreement is prepared and sent by email.
Lesson days and times are agreed upon together and outlined within the agreement.
A $750 CAD deposit secures your lesson space and scheduling commitment.
The deposit is credited toward overall tuition and is not an additional fee.
All prices exclude HST. (Canadian Harmonized Sales Tax)
5. Lessons Begin
Once registration is complete, lessons begin.
Each session is designed around the learner — incorporating goals, strengths, interests, and learning preferences to create a supportive and engaging French experience with meaningful progress over time.

A $750 CAD deposit + HST is required to reserve lesson space and scheduling commitment.
This deposit is applied toward tuition.
Remaining tuition may be:
